If the doctor deems an ultrasound examination necessary immediately after the physical examination, this can be performed in our practice. Due to additional training, Dr. den Hartog is skilled in using ultrasound to determine specific causes of abdominal pain or a thrombosis in the leg.

Our practice is run by several employees. The general practitioners, drs Den Hartog and drs De Zeeuw, are supported by a nurse specialist, practice assistants somatic and mental health in the consultation of patients. In addition, our team is helped by a team of assistants.
In the general practitioner's practice, a basic physician is also trained as a specialist in general medicine.

Dr. de Zeeuw General Practitioner After completing his medical training and general practitioner residency in Rotterdam, Dr. de Zeeuw began working as a general practitioner at the practice in Rijsoord.

Ms. M. Urban Nurse Specialist My name is Mariëtte Urban and I am a nurse specialist at this excellent general practice. I have been working at the practice since 2021, initially as a trainee and since 2023 as a certified nurse specialist. A nurse specialist is a master's-level trained nurse who is authorized to independently diagnose, prescribe medication, and order tests. Therefore, you may come to me with your complaint or problem. Medical Resident in Training to Become a General Practitioner As part of their GP specialization, a medical resident is placed in a general practice for the first and third years.
